Terms and conditions

This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These terms govern registration for Basauri Motorday events and the purchase of the official t-shirt through basaurimotorday.es. The organiser is Asier Ogiza, on behalf of Cuadrilla Edurre (see the Legal notice). By registering or buying, you confirm you have read and accept them.

1. User account

• You need an account to register or buy. You must be 18 or older and provide truthful information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Let us know if you suspect misuse.
• We may suspend accounts with false information or that use the Website fraudulently.

2. Event registration

• Application and admission. Submitting the form is an application: the organisation reviews it and decides whether to accept it. The number of places shown is indicative; if it is full, your application goes on the waiting list.
• Payment. If your application is accepted, we will email you the amount and bank-transfer details. You must upload the receipt from your account. If you do not pay within the stated period (usually 7 days), the application may be dismissed.
• Confirmation and ticket. Your registration is confirmed when the organisation approves it. You will receive your PDF accreditation with a personal, non-transferable QR code to show at the entrance.
• Vehicle and driving. Participants declare that their vehicle complies with applicable regulations, has compulsory insurance and valid documents, and that they hold a valid driving licence. They must follow the event rules and the organisation's instructions.
• Event rules. Each event may have its own rules, accepted when registering, which prevail on the matters they specifically cover.
• The organisation may refuse entry to or remove anyone who breaks the rules, endangers safety or behaves inappropriately, without refund.

3. Registration cancellations and refunds

• The registration fee is not refunded if the participant does not attend or cancels on their own.
• If the organisation cancels the event, the amount paid will be refunded.
• If the event is postponed or its location or times change, the registration remains valid for the new date; if you cannot attend, write to us and we will consider your case.
• The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to registration, as it is a leisure service for a specific date (art. 103.l of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).

4. Shop: official t-shirt

• Order and payment. You choose a size and place the order; we email you the amount and bank-transfer details, and you upload the receipt from your account. Prices include any applicable taxes.
• Availability. Sizes are subject to stock. If a size runs out after your order, we will offer another size or a refund.
• Pick-up. Once payment is verified you will receive a ticket with a QR code. The t-shirt is collected at the event by showing that QR (no home delivery).
• Size changes. You can change the size from your account while stock lasts and the t-shirt has not been collected.
• Returns. T-shirts are commemorative garments for a specific event and cannot be returned, except for manufacturing defects reported at pick-up. If the organisation cancels the event, t-shirts not yet collected will be refunded.

5. Image rights and photos

• By registering you authorise the publication on the Website and the event's social media of the photos of your vehicle you upload, together with its make and model and your name. You can ask us at any time to remove a photo by writing to basaurimotorday.edurre@gmail.com.
• Photos you upload must be your own or used with their author's permission, and must not show other people without their consent.
• Photos and videos will be taken during the event and shared on the Website and social media to promote it. Attendees and vehicles may appear. If you do not want to appear in a published image, write to us and we will remove it.

6. Liability

• Each participant is responsible for their vehicle and any damage it causes, under traffic and insurance law.
• The organisation is not liable for lost items or for damage caused by third parties or by breaches of the event rules.
• Nothing above limits your statutory consumer rights.
